Who would benefit from fixing nutrition?

If you answer yes to any of these questions, there is much we can do together with nutrition and lifestyle modifications to help

  • Are you low in energy?

  • Not getting enough sleep?

  • Feeling there's something wrong even though doctors tell you everything is fine?

  • Are you suffering from hormonal imbalances or unwanted symptoms of menopause?

  • Do you want to clean up your diet?

  • Are you worried about your family history and what may be in your genes and want to avoid chronic disease?

  • Are you tired of trying to lose weight unsuccessfully?

  • Suffering with anxiety or depression?

  • Do you have a chronic or autoimmune diagnosis?

Will this be difficult?

"If it doesn't challenge you it won't make you stronger" - true quote, but it doesn't need to be overly difficult to have great effect. You won't have to forever give up foods you love, what you need to do is learn what your body needs and create habits around those needs that will be easy to stick to.  Trust yourself, you can do it, and your body will thank you. It will eventually be much easier than you think.

How quickly will I see results?

If you're looking for a quick fix, this is not it. Think of this not as a sprint, but an endurance race. Though you will start feeling and seeing changes within weeks, lasting results are not obtained without commitment and perseverance. We'll work on finding the right life style for you, something you can easily stick to and not fall back on bad habits. Trust the process, trust yourself. We will assess, track and recommend until we find what is right for you. And if you stick with it, you will see lasting results.

About Me

Meet Wanda

I am a Certified Functional Nutrition and Lifestyle Practitioner and a Certified Functional Nutrition Coach.  I have been studying and practicing functional nutrition for over a decade and have gotten to experience first hand many amazing positive effects. My interest in nutrition didn't start with a desire to feel better (I actually thought I was fine) but with the diagnosis of a loved one with Alzheimers and its implications on my family. I set out to learn if there was anything that could be done to delay or prevent Alzheimers if one had a genetic predisposition to it. And I learnt there indeed is. Nutrition and lifestyle can influence the expression of our genes and it can help us prevent or treat many of the chronic diseases we all fear. Click below to learn more about my journey

“I was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome and told it would lead to insulin resistance. Sadly, no doctor ever offered treatment or advice other than “eat right”. I had an idea what that meant and tried to follow their vague advice but struggled when I was trying to implement my own plans. Ultimately, I started gaining weight in my 50s. I chalked it up to “getting old”. After learning about Wanda’s consulting services, I decided I had to try it out. My intent was to lose the excess weight. Wanda consulted with me for over an hour and sent me a written plan. I began modifying my diet according to her instructions. We met weekly and she helped me along the way so that I was continually making progress in my food choices. After three weeks I began to feel a difference - I no longer was “crashing” after eating as I was given information that helped me choose foods that did not negatively affect my blood sugar. I also started to notice the weight loss. After 6 months I reached my weight goal. This process was very transformational for me, I not only view it as simply losing weight but rather as a life style change. I also learned for Wanda that I can forgive myself and I don’t have to give up if I have some bad food days. I am thankful to Wanda because I not only look better, but I feel much better.”
